CEC's eligibility requirements

The candidate must have completed 12 months of skilled work experience in Canada during the preceding three years from the date of application. The work experience must have been completed while the applicant was in possession of a valid work permit.

This work experience needs to fit into one or more of the TEER 0, 1, 2, or 3 vocations.

Note that this category will not accept work experience you obtained while enrolled full-time in school or via self-employment as acceptable Canadian work experience.
